its own right. \u00a0It is teeming with visitor services\u00a0as well as\u00a0shops catering to the needs of everyday life.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/nav>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/header>\n<div id=\"main\" class=\"all_colors\">\n<div class=\"main_color container_wrap_first container_wrap fullsize\">\n<div class=\"container\">\n<div class=\"post-entry post-entry-type-page post-entry-4170\">\n<div class=\"entry-content-wrapper clearfix\">\n<div class=\"flex_column av_one_half flex_column_div av-zero-column-padding avia-builder-el-3 el_after_av_one_half el_before_av_one_half \">\n<section class=\"av_textblock_section\">\n<div class=\"avia_textblock \">\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-677\" \/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/FethiyeMerkezi.jpg 1417w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 660px) 100vw, 660px\" \/>The adjacent, smaller towns of\u00a0Hisar\u00f6n\u00fc, \u00d6ludeniz and \u00c7alis are also lively, with beaches, plentiful accommodations and holiday excitement. \u00a0Dramatic mountains nearby offer fantastic exploring opportunities for those interested in Turkey\u2019s ancient history.<\/p>\n<p>Of note to visitors, is an open vegetable and fish market very close to the Fethiye marina walk. \u00a0The restaurants surrounding the fish mongers will take your selection and prepare it to order.<\/p>\n<p>Fethiye is surrounded by\u00a0Lycian\u00a0rock-carved tombs, some of which\u00a0are\u00a0worth a visit for the view alone. \u00a0There is a medieval castle on a high bluff and Lycian\u00a0sarcophagus in the town center.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-679 alignright\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/PA300244-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"308\" height=\"231\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Fethiye has\u00a0three marinas, plus the municipal harbour. \u00a0For anchoring, the\u00a0best location is at the western end of the bay, where 10-15m are possible from the boatyards and eastward to\u00a0<em>Ece Saray Marina.<\/em> \u00a0Shelter is good except east, although\u00a0the pontoons of\u00a0<em>Ece Saray Marina\u00a0<\/em>give protection. \u00a0Fethiye\u00a0is a Port of Entry for Turkey with\u00a0a myriad of yachting facilities.<\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-682 alignright\" Hamams and souvenir shops<\/li>\n<li>Banks\/ATMs\/Currency exchange<\/li>\n<li>WIFI in marinas and most restaurants\/cafes<\/li>\n<li>Marine shops are plentiful<\/li>\n<li>Port of Entry\/Customs services<\/li>\n<li>Fethiye <em>Ece Saray Marina<\/em> (400 berths and a full compliment of marina facilities)<\/li>\n<li><em>Yacht Classic Hotel Marina<\/em> (30 berths, mostly for hotel
