100vw, 660px\" \/>Turkkey\u2019s<em>\u00a0Turquoise Coast<\/em> boasts a very large sailing area. \u00a0With G\u00f6cek as a home port, you can sail as much or as little as you like. \u00a0Whether going NW to Marmaris, SE to Kalkan\/Ka\u015f or simply enjoying the many coves in the bays of G\u00f6cek and Fethiye, any plan can make an interesting and adventurous sailing holiday.<\/p>\n<p>Our itineraries are for\u00a0one and two week sails. \u00a0In total, nearly 30 locations have been selected \u2013 towns to coves, sophisticated to rustic. \u00a0A brief summary of each port is accessible through links on the itineraries pages. \u00a0They are all beautiful and interesting places. \u00a0We think you will have as difficult a time making selections as we did.<\/p>\n<p><img \/><\/p>\n<p>Itineraries were developed to provide an active sailing plan involving\u00a0staying in a different port each night. \u00a0For a more relaxed schedule, any number of ports can easily be eliminated in order to remain in a location\u00a0of choice for multiple nights. \u00a0The exception is the last night in G\u00f6cek\u00a0due to the need\u00a0to return the yacht the following morning.<\/p>\n<p>Further, many of the stops in the <a href=\"\/blog\/skopea-limani-3640-4%e2%80%b2n-2952-8%e2%80%b2e-and-vicinity\/\"><em>Skopea Limani<\/em><\/a> and <a href=\"\/blog\/the-kekova-roads\/\"><em>Kekova Roads<\/em><\/a> are very close together and, therefore, interchangeable.<\/p>\n<p>The itineraries were designed to be a guide \u2013 the choices are all yours.<\/p>\n<p class=\"av-special-heading-tag\"><strong>Two Special Areas of Interest<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"flex_column av_one_half flex_column_div first avia-builder-el-10 el_after_av_one_full el_before_av_one_half column-top-margin\">\n<section class=\"av_textblock_section\">\n<div class=\"avia_textblock \">\n<p><strong>The Skopea Limani<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Of particular note for moving out of the home port of G\u00f6cek, is the <em>Skop<\/em><em>e<\/em><em>a Limani<\/em>. \u00a0It is considered a jewel of sailing in Turkey. \u00a0It includes 13 popular named bays and coves and is dotted with small beaches. \u00a0Five achorages in the area are included in our suggested itineraries:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"\/blog\/sarsala-bay-the-skopea-limani-3640-4%e2%80%b2n-2852-1%e2%80%b2e\/\">Sarsala Bay<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/blog\/wall-bay-the-skopea-limani-3638-7%e2%80%b2n-2850-05%e2%80%b2e\/\">Wall Bay<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/blog\/22-fathom-bay-the-skopea-limani-3638-5%e2%80%b2n-2851-8%e2%80%b2e\/\">22 Fathom Bay<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/blog\/tomb-bay-the-skopea-limani-3641-6%e2%80%b2n-2852-3%e2%80%b2e\/\">Tomb Bay<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/blog\/kapi-creek-the-skopea-limani-3638-7%e2%80%b2n-2853-6%e2%80%b2e\/\">Kapi might want to explore another special area called <em>The Kekova Roads<\/em>. \u00a0It is an area that runs inside a four mile long island. \u00a0While it requires careful sailing around reefs and underwater rocks, the reward is seeing a magical place of crystal clear water, submerged\u00a0ancient city ruins, rock caves and isolated coves. \u00a0We have included five stops in the nautical miles can be easily achieved. \u00a0If the ports to the SE are more to your liking\u00a0and a more aggressive itinerary is desired, 135-175 nautical miles will take you to the SE toward Kalkan\/Ka\u015f\/<em>The Kekova Roads<\/em> and back. \u00a0Alternatively, a more leisurely sail in Skopea Limani, G\u00f6cek Bay and to the Fethiye area provide a 70 nautical mile sail sail SE down to Kalkan\/Ka\u015f and beyond to the stunning and unique<em> Kekova Roads<\/em> \u00a0area covers 195-210 nautical miles and a more leisurely plan in the vicinity closer to the home port
